Single Training Playlist

We can't train together every time (boo!). Sometimes it's me (Jessi) finishing school stuff, our work schedules, and then there are some times when sleep is just more appealing.

This past weekend was one of those times we just could not get on the same page to do a long run and long bike together.

So, I devised the following playlist to get me through:

Geek in the Pink--Jason Mraz
Send My Love to the Dance Floor--Cobra Starship
Gangnam Style--Gangnam (there's nothing like "Hey sexy lady" to get you up an intense hill!)
Stone in my Heart--Graffiti6
3 Pears--Dwight Yoakam
Feud--Band of Horses
Too Close--Alex Clare
Smile--Avril Lavigne
Stop Mary--Graffiti6
Rooftop--DMB
Southern Comfort Zone--Brad Paisley
Clarity--Zedd
Go Hard (clean)--Kraeyshawn
Hard to Love--Lee Brice
Hall of Fame--The Script (feat. Will.I.Am)
Just Say Yes--Snow Patrol
The Night Out--Martin Solveig
Gold on the Ceiling--The Black Keys
Push--Madonna

The wind was horrible and it was one of those freezing to burning weather days. Nonetheless, I finished my 20 mile bike ride in 1 hour 12 minutes, and my six mile run in 50 minutes...and then ate whatever I wanted...which consisted of 2 beers and a basket of Okra from Silver Dollar all in good company.

  1. That is crazy...not the music, but the bike ride! Very proud of you, even though you are one crazy mama jama!

But hey, they say giving birth is the equivalent to running a marathon ;)

  2. ummm....in terms of how long it takes to do a marathon? or the time it takes to recover after doing a marathon? Cuz I'm pretty sure the pain associated with giving birth is way WORSE than a marathon, thus making YOU the ninja!!!! However, I'll take your word for it and start saying that I've given birth 4-5 times :) lol
